Moved by the events of September 11th, and set to retire and ‘enjoy life,’ Charlotte Frank realized that she could help make this world a better place. She realized the need for a network that women in their retirement years could use as a community and see themselves as assets. Via groups of 8-12 women, Charlotte’s organization, The Transition Network, fulfills this need.
3000 members strong, with groups all around the country, this network of amazing women (known as TTN) has launched literacy programs for disadvantaged children, helped low income seniors learn how to apply for prescription drug programs, and provided clothing and advice to help women gain employment. From a tragic moment in history, Charlotte drew inspiration. To learn more about The Transition Network visit www.thetransitionnetwork.com.
